Lonny Magazine Sept/Oct 2011

Hello!

I am happy to be back after a bit of a hiatus with family. While out of town I had a severe allergic reaction to something and broke out in a combo of hives and other itchy rashes over most of my body. Ugh. I was miserable for days and after a misdiagnosis and a day and a half of not holding sweet baby M I am happy to know I'm not contagious. I'm still not sure what I had a reaction to but I'm thinking it was something seasonal. Either way, I'm ready to look normal again but am mostly thankful to be less itchy and not having to stress about contaminating everyone around me.

Needless to say it has been a stressful few days! Today we are enjoying temps in the 60's, which I'm pretty happy about (partly because I have to wear pants and long sleeves to cover my bumps) but also because it's starting to feel like fall! I'm off to do some fall decor shopping today!

I'm inspired by the greenery on the mantle. I need to keep my eye out for something similar.

Living Room Love

One of my favorite designers, Erika Powell from Urban Grace Interiors posted about it yesterday because she is a featured designer and let me tell you, it does not disappoint! Lonny Magazine

Good morning all!

I hope you all had a great weekend. We did a bit of Christmas shopping, hung out with friends, ate yummy food, organized for the packers to come, and took naps. I don't know about you but that is a great combination in my book.

I'm fighting a cold, which is the pits. I'm hoping a nap today and a couple of good nights sleep will knock it out quickly.

Good morning!

Are you guys in love with Lonny magazine like I am? Lonny is an online magazine who's mission is to provide accessible design and inspiration. Let me tell you, if you're dying for inspiration or just want a good read with amazing photos, check it out!

One thing that caught my eye in the recent issue is designer John Derian's upcoming collection for Target. His collection arrives September 5th in stores and online.

I am in love with the leaf/plant plates and for only $2.99 I think they must be mine!
