Dining Room Update

Hi all!

We finally got around to ordering and receiving the rug for our dining room.  I love it and it makes the room so much cozier.  It's amazing what 1 piece or addition to a room can do.  We still have a long way to go but I at least am not embarrassed of our dining room anymore!

Still on the To Do List are the following things:

I haven't had time to look for a centerpiece for the table yet but I don't mind the look of these Granny Smith's in a basket.  I feel like it is a nod to the country styling of the ladder back chairs and I like that it's simple and low as well as easy to remove when we have company.

Just for fun let's remember how far we have come.  Sadly our dining room sat like this for months and months....empty except for a few pieces of furniture:

And now the after:

Have you made any purchases lately that have made all the difference in a room?  I love it when that happens!

Rugs

Hi all!

A topic we haven't talked about in awhile is rugs. I think rugs are an easy way to pull a space together and at the same time they can completely change and make a space.

Here are a few rugs I'm loving today!

Have a great day!

Rug Love

Hi all!
I'm on my way back to Florida today but I just had to post about a rug I'm loving.

Rugs, rugs, rugs

Good morning!

I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday weekend! We had a nice relaxing day yesterday and a fun evening with friends. I'm happy to have Jacob home for two more days as opposed to one.

Since my post on curtain panels got me thinking last week I thought why not follow it up with a post on the rugs I have come across and love. I'm posting and running so here we go!

I could go on and on with rugs that I love. As you can see I have a love for color but I also appreciate a neutral area rug. I think we will have both in our future home.
