Christmas Table

Good morning!

I'm here to share my Christmas table. Please keep in mind that we have no dining room table or chairs and that this room is far from finished.

The tables are 2 banquet tables we borrowed so it is quite wide. I made the tablecloths with fabric I purchased and everything else I had on hand. The runner is more fabric I had, the wing backs are borrowed from the living room and the other chairs are from the breakfast nook table.

I took extra tree trimmings to make the centerpiece and added a few fake berries.

I made the wreath around the cake stand like so:

I intertwined burlap into the greenery to tie in the linen napkins and add some texture

2 days till Christmas!

Thanksgiving Centerpiece Ideas

Good morning!

We had a lovely Halloween with friends. I hope you did also! Is anyone else already mentally moving on to the next holiday? I am! Even though we aren't hosting Thanksgiving this year I thought it would be fun to compile a few centerpiece ideas for those of you that are.

Here are my favorites all via Pinterest:

I love a natural, organic feeling tablescape if you can't tell! :)

Have a great day!

Thanksgiving Table Settings

Good morning!

I hope you all had a great weekend! We had a productive yet relaxing few days. It is still so hard to believe that Thanksgiving is on Thursday. My mom arrives on Wednesday night and I'm excited to have a few days hanging out and Christmas shopping with her. Since it will just be Jacob, my mom, and I......I won't be doing a big table arrangement (we're simple like that) but here are some that I love!

Some are very simple, which I appreciate. I'll definitely have to remember this for next year or whenever we host a larger Thanksgiving.

Have a nice day!

Tablescapes by Season

Good morning!
Sarah and I had a busy but awesome day yesterday and I'm sure today will be no different.

A conversation with a good friend this week got me thinking about tablescapes and how fun they can be. She inspired me to put together a post about different ideas depending on the season for your table. I think that the possibilities are endless when it comes to even using things around your home to put together something beautiful!

Do you have any items in particular that you love to use in your favorite tablescapes? I've started a collection of glass candlestick holders in varying shapes and sizes, which makes for a beautiful addition to any table!

Enjoy your Saturday!
