Anyone starting to get excited for Christmas?

Hello!

As much as I would like to avoid getting excited for Christmas until after Thanksgiving it always creeps in around this time of year. It's almost unavoidable if you're out in public at all because Christmas is everywhere in the retail world. Anyway, we will be traveling home this year rather than staying here like we did last year so I won't be going all out with decor.

Here are some different Christmas vignettes I have saved over the years.

Roman Shades

Good morning!

I hope you all had a great weekend because we certainly did! My in laws were here and my brother in law and we had a really nice time. It was finally cooler and I must say that it felt so nice to finally be able to wear jeans. I still can't believe it's November!

Anyway, I stumbled across this picture while looking for roman shade inspiration and I really like it. Here are several other shades that I think can really complete a room.

Another Wish List Item

Good morning!

I hope you all are having a nice week so far. I'm super busy and if you haven't noticed I've been posting more pictures and less text. I hope you don't mind, I love the pictures when I look at blogs.

One item on my wish list for our future home is definitely a kitchen island. I love the islands in the pictures below. I love how they are function and can be very chic as well!
