Idea Boards

Good morning!

I have been hard at work on a few idea boards for people needing inspiration. Sometimes I think it's hard when you live with a room that you see all the time to step back and decide what to do; especially if there is a design element to the room that is particularly challenging!

This first board is a perfect example of how it can be challenging to incorporate a certain feature of a room. In this particular living room there is an entire bricked wall with a fire place. They own the leather couch and love seat but weren't exactly sure how to incorporate the brick tones and make it work.

Here is what I came up with:

This next room is a guest bedroom that they wanted to paint turquoise but they weren't sure how to tie it all together. This one was a breeze because I love turquoise with yellow!

This last idea board was a very large master bedroom painted a grayish blue. She wanted to bring some color into the room and she wasn't exactly sure how to accomplish that task! I created a few different areas of the room: one being the bed area, a sitting area, and a dresser with a collage of frames.
